APAC'S ASIAN AMERICAN LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
AALI is an eight-week training program that offers Asian American students the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills around and beyond the UT campus. Through the institute, participants also organize a statewide conference for Asian American high school students. All participants receive a letter of recommendation from the Multicultural Information Center.

APAC'S ASIAN AMERICAN EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Sponsored by the Asian Desi Pacific American Collective (APAC), these awards are the culminating event of Asian Pacific American Awareness Week. The ceremony is held each spring to honor the accomplishments of various Asian American organization and outstanding students on campus.

CHINESE STUDENT ASSOCIATION'S (CSA) MID-AUTUMN MOON FESTIVAL
Held every fall semester CSA, this event brings together family members and friends to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon. This festival includes cultural performances, food, and fun.

Indian Cultural Association's (ICA) Jhalak & Jhashan
Jhalak is a free talent show held on the Main Mall every fall featuring dance acts, singers, skits, and live musicains.
Jhashan is a free cultural festival held on the South Mall every spring with booths of South Asian food, arts and crafts, and prizes. The festival culminates in Bhangrass, the highlight of the event. For more information, please visit www.ica-austin.net


Indian Students Association's (ISA) Talent Show
Held in the spring semester at Westlake High School, this show celebrates a variety of South Asian talents such as cultural dances and live musicians. More information is availabe at www.utisa.net.

Muslim Student's Association (MSA) Fast-A-Thon
The Fast-A-Thon takes place during the month of Ramadan, raising money for a local food pantry. UT students pledge to fast for a day and are invited to break their fast with fellow participants at a feast organized by MSA. For more information, please visit studentorgs.utexas.edu/msa.
Navratri
The annual celebraton organized by the Hindi Students Council and the Asian American Culture Commettee. This event is free to all students, held on campus, and provides an opportunity to celebrate Navratri.

Omega Phi Gamma's Unity Talent Show
Held at the beginning of year, this even allows various Asian American organizations to showcase their talents. Past acts have included dances, step acts, and various musicians. The Unity Show is free to the public and held on campus.

Taiwanese American Student Association's (TASA) Night Market
A carnival-like celebration held in the fall semester on teh Main Mall. TASA's Night Market includes booths with food, arts and crafts, and various performances. For more information, please visit www.utexas.edu/students/tasa.

APAC and TAPC's You Bring Out the Asian American In Me! (YBO)
Organized by the Asian Desi Pacific American Collective, with the help of Texas Asian Pan-Hellenic Council, YBO serves as a program to welcome Asian American students to UT. Complete with a fair of Asian American organizations and resources available on campus, performaces from musical artists, dancers, and/or comedians, this program is a unifying event for the Asian American community on campus.
